{ Frustration }

I rescued this little guy on highway 149 last Tuesday. When I found him he was starving, dirty, and beaten. I brought him home and the kids instantly started calling him "Burritto". A silly name for a dog, but he took right to it. When josh got home, we bathed him and fed him and gave him a comfy doggie bed to sleep in. I had every intention of taking him to the humane society in town the next day. Ive come to find our HS is closing down and euthanizing dogs. I couldnt take him to the pound, there is a 3 day hold and then they also put them down. Im so frustrated at the situation. I have 3 rescue dogs already. I cant help it, I have a big heart when it comes to strays. Hubby has warned me about bringing anymore home, but I really just dont know what to do. If I see an animal in need, Im going to help. But with no support system in the county we live in, its rough. My poor sister in law is fostering dogs left and right..... her backyard is one giant kennel. 300 dogs a week are being euthanized in our area, that is just an outrageous number. Anyway, just letting my thoughts float out onto this page. Burritto truley is a sweetie pie, I cant imagine why anyone wouldnt of wanted him. Atleast he has a loving place to wag his tail now.

My kids and I were deciphering clouds yesterday for fun. That inspired me to do this layout.

Visible and hidden journaling reads:

{ Stuck Inside }

Ive been watching the clouds outside my windows today, wish I could be out. Its weird the things that grab you when your busy doing something your not that into. I really do love clouds, there something different to everyone, personal perception.

I read somewhere that RED,WHITE,BLACK are the most used colors. They symbolize strength and power. In the context of this layout, that doesnt really make sense. But its definately my favorite color combo. Perhaps because in the global scope of things, its so recognizable. Plus, I think the star on J's nose is funny. Im sure he wouldnt agree :)

{ Why So Blue }

Im starting to feel better, spent some time in the hospital for bronchitis. But ive got renewed energey, and Im feeling very productive today. I think im gonna finish my art studio and clean the house. Oh, thought I'd share my newest layout too. This is dylan having a sullen moment while taking a break from skateboarding a few weekends ago. Its was such a gorgeous day, bright and sunny, I wanted to use very vibrant colors and I think these papers create the mood from that day perfectly, and dylans mood as well.
