Ick! I came down with something over the weekend. At first I thought it was a flu relapse. But now im thinking just a nasty ol' chest cold. Im taking a break to get better over the next few days.
I guess in the spirit of talking about shoes lately, im continuing on my shoe blogging trend. I picked these up for dylan (via ebay) the other day. Love, love, love these vans. He was so excited when they came in the mail yesterday. There a little to big, i was buying them for next school year. But i got the "MOM SO WHAT SPEECH" and he went right on to wear them anyway. That'll teach me!
A scrapbook.com neighbor asked me for some recipes the other day and I thought I would share these links here too. Lots of yummy stuff can be found on these sites.
This is kinda an old layout, but i scanned it in yesterday and wanted to share it. I loved these cherry arte papers so so much when they first came out, but this is the only time i ever used them.
Ive decided that i heart fancy pants. There quickly becoming one of my favorite scrap companies. I just ordered a ton of there new products from Cha! My favorite has got to be Kewl, pictured above.
I just finished watching the 1st season of Masters Of Horror. I have to say I loved it, with my personal favorite being Cigarette Burns (by director: John Carpenter). We dont get showtime, its Hbo in this house. But with all the cool shows there putting out lately, its make me want it. I cant wait for the second season to come out on dvd, im so ready to add it to my queue.
Custom. Everyone is so into customzing now days, or atleast I know I am. These are too cute, I created my own Vans Shoes today. Give it a try, its alot fun and kills some time. Note: the above picture are not the ones I created, since you use flash to make em. But I do own the above, and they are so so comfy! Vans Knock-offs from target. *wow* 2 blogs in one day . . . Im on a roll!!!
Awww. Check out the cute new Carrier I got for Loudog. I love the tattoo on the front, so perfect! I cant wait til it arrives, he's gonna be the most stylish doggie in town!
Its titled *Because I love You*. The photo is of my hubby and our newest family member LOUDOG. This Layout would have been doggy x-rated but I covered his lower area with ribbon. FYI: Lou is a full bred chihuahua that we rescued over the weekend. He is a mere 4 1/2 lbs and was just terrified when we picked him up. I think he is really starting to get use to his new surroundings. He is just too precious, follows me and hubby around everywhere. And although Ive heard Chi's are not the best dogs for "Families" (we have a 5 & 7 yr old), He seems to be doing very well with the boys and Chico and Dixie of course too. Products used are 2peas and scrapgirls I believe.
Its been super cold here today. We even had a few snow flurries. Who would of thought, snow in east texas? Tonight: Mainly clear. Cold. Low 22F. Winds NNW at 5 to 10 mph. Buurrr!!!
We watched this last nite, I have to say although strange its pretty good.
A Scanner Darkly is the movie you may have seen previews for that looks like half-real life, half-animation. It was actually filmed in it's entirety with real actors in real life, and then went back and painted over. The finished product looks awesome.
The movie ended up being very, very mysterious and confusing. At the end of the movie it was less confusing and more mysterious. I like movies like that. I may not know every answer at the end of the film, but I definitely had a good time getting there.
